The original NMD was born out of an appreciation for the bold 80s adidas colourways and three sneaks from the adidas archives: the Boston Super, the Micropacer, and the Rising Star. The unique and distinct look of the NMD lines came about through the decision to let designers access the adidas archives but not let them bring any materials back to their desks with them. This forced a combination on ingenuity and memory to produce something wholly different. With numerous different trainer iterations, NMD now also has an archival inspired clothing line.

adidas NMD R1

Bringing you performance tech merged with classic adi style, the NMD R1 was the first in the NMD line of trainers. Debuting in late 2015, the R1 is still one of the most popular running shoes available three years on. Providing mass appeal to runners and sneakerheads alike, the kick’s sock-like upper gives you a pure fit while also being breathable. The addition of the Boost tech and duo plugs to the midsole gives the sneaks their unique cushioned appeal that has put them at the top of the shoe game.

adidas NMD R1 Primeknit

Building upon the success of the R1, the R1 Primeknit brings all the same standout technologies along with adidas’ Primeknit upper for a more secure and breathable wear. The ribbed ankle collar helps to further lock in the foot, while the cageless lacing system creates a more uniform look that will impress on the streets and on the track.

adidas NMD R2

Reining in the look of the R1, the R2 features a more streamlined aesthetic for performance focused wear. The sneak has a chunkier midsole that only utilises one plug, giving you more responsive cushioning where you need it most. While being the more fitness focused companion to the R1, the R2 still has a standout look that has made sneakerheads snatch them up. With bold contrasting colourways available, make sure you cop the sneak with style and performance.

adidas NMD CS2

Bursting onto the scene in early 2017, the NMD CS2 switched up the NMD style for standout results. The kick is a chukka-style sneaker and retains the midsole design of the R2 while showcasing a laceless upper for an overall smooth and stlyin’ look. Wrapping your feet in complete comfort without any unwanted pressure points. The “City Sneaker 2” trainer is perfect for the hitting the streets in, all while performing to the highest standard.
