Crocs: History of the brand

Crocs was founded by Scott Seamans, Lyndon Hanson, and George Boedecker Jr. This started when the trio bought Andrew Reddyhoff's design from Foam Creations. The brand showcased their first-ever model dubbed ’The Beach’. All 200 models sold out.

In 2006 Crocs purchased Jibbitz. This company created small charm accessories that are attached to the top of Crocs, allowing customers to customise their own Crocs. By 2017 Crocs had sold 300 million pairs. Since then, they have become a household name.
