This new version redefines the shoe’s performance with updated materials and components, and it is the first in the series designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. This transition revitalizes the franchise’s core values while advancing its performance. It features midsole tooling that mirrors the original GEL technology cushioning and enhances the upper's fit, while maintaining the layered leather and mesh construction from 2008. Additionally, the sockliner is created using a solution dyeing process that cuts water usage by 33% and reduces carbon emissions by about 45%.
