The Origins of the Nike Dunk Low

The first pairs of Nike Dunks were released in 1985, designed by Peter Moore to be used by basketball players. They were the result of the ‘Be True to Your School’ initiative, which involved creating a new range of sneakers in the colours of certain university teams.
